  • They even bring your tracking device with them, so you do not need to wait in for a delivery! 
  • As soon as fitting is completed a member of the subs team will contact to set up your subscription. You will also be provided with a certificate of authentication for you to forward to your insurance company.

 

So what next?

  1. Purchase your car tracker by ordering online or calling us (03300552777). A member of the fitting team will arrange a time, date and location for your fitting that best suits your schedule.
  2. Our mobile engineer will visit you at the agreed appointment time to fully install and activate your tracker.
  3. The Smartrack team will contact you to set up your subscription. They will also email your certificate for you to instantly send to your insurance co.
  4. That’s it! You’re now fully insured against theft and ready to enjoy your vehicle!

You can contact us today to book in your CAT 6 fitting. Please note that CAT 6 trackers are soon going to be recategorised as S7 insurance approved trackers. If your insurance company makes reference to an S7 grade tracker, they are still referring to the CAT 6 model. Mobile installation applies to UK mainland postcodes. For any installations away from the mainland please enquire in advance of purchasing to check coverage and availability.

Which is better a CAT 5 or CAT 6 car tracker?

The CAT 6 tracker is currently being renamed/re-categorised as the S7 vehicle tracker. You may hear insurers use either of these names. However, they are the same product- and same level of security. The S7/CAT 6 tracker is the entry-level security device. The CAT 5 tracker has the same features but also has additional security to further protect against key theft, keyless entry theft and relay attack. Therefore, the CAT 5 tracker is the higher-level insurance approved tracker.
