So what is VHF technology?

VHF (Very High Frequency) is our Military-grade patented technology that can track stolen assets even when concealed in metal containers, lock-ups or underground car parks. 

Monitor uses our unique and patented VHF technology to alert you if your vehicle is moved with the ignition turned off, to enable faster activation and recovery.

VHF technology is exclusive to TRACKER and is not affected by criminals’ GPS/GSM signal jammers.

What's the benefit of a battery-operated VHF S7 tracker?

The S7 TRACKER Retrieve is a self-contained VHF tracking device. Having its own power source means that your VHF tracker can be used for a wide range of assets, as it does not need to be wired into a specific location.

This allows the Retrieve VHF tracker to protect everything from catering vans, quad bikes, trailers to horseboxes and motorbikes.

What happens if my vehicle is stolen?

In the event of theft you will need to obtain a crime reference number from the police. You then provide that number to your 24/7 TRACKER control room. 

On confirmation of the theft and receipt of your police crime reference number, TRACKER will activate the unit, which will emit a silent signal allowing the police to track the vehicle to its exact location, even if it’s hidden in a shipping container or underground car park. 

Battery Powered Retrieve is a one-time use stolen vehicle recovery product, it uses our patented VHF technology and is operated by all UK police forces. The police can employ the precision of the VHF technology to track the stolen asset to its exact location for a fast recovery.
