FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND TROUBLE SHOOTING
Please ensure you have read the instructions that have accompanied your tracker. They include all the information you require to start tracking.
Below is the most frequently asked questions from our customer’s.
FAQ’S RELATING TO THE ENFORCER, HUNTER, MICRO MAGNETIC, TRACK POD & FLEETMAN GPS TRACKERS.
Q. I cannot access my mapping panel
The first time you access your mapping panel you may be asked to download Google Silverlight. This takes seconds just click on run when instructed to do so, you may have to turn your computer off and then back on to complete the download.
We also find that using Google Chrome as your internet portal sometimes gives faster mapping access.
Q. Mapping panel not showing the correct location or information when first switched on
Your mapping panel will update all the information on its first GPS fix when it senses movement. Make sure your tracker is fully charged and switched on, take it outside and ensure it is moving so that it can show a GPS fix to your panel.
Q.Tracker not tracking on the mapping panel
Is it switched on.
Has it charge in its battery, or in the case of Fleetman is it properly connected to a power supply.
Do you have location credits.
Is the tracker stationary.
Is it in poor mobile phone signal area or in a building or underground car park where it is unable to get a GPS fix.
Have you placed the tracker in a position in a car or asset where it is unable to obtain a GPS fix.
If you have considered all of the above and it is still not tracking, send it a re-boot command from your settings page.
Q. How do I send my tracker commands such as changing its reporting time and re-boot
Go to your settings page and the box ‘Send Unit SMS Commands.’ If you scroll down this box you will see the the commands you can send your tracker such as ‘locate me now’ and changing its reporting time( The intervals that you want your tracker to update your mapping panel).
Highlight the command you want to send and then click on the send box, a box will appear to show it has been sent successfully, the tracker will then send a message to the panel to show it has been received.
Q. How do I get the tracking history
At the bottom left of your mapping panel click on the box with the number 15, this will open up a calendar, click on the date you are interested in and then put a tick in the box ‘Show Replay’ this will show the tracking history on the map.
To down load history in a file format, click on the report viewer box at the top of the panel and select the date you are interested in and follow the instructions.
FAQ’S RELATING TO THE PREDATOR GPS TRACKER
Q. How do I get the tracking history
On the right hand side of your mapping panel you will see 3 boxes that you can open which will give you information about your Predator: Vehicles, Tracks (Selected Points) and Track Points (Selected Tracks). You can open and close each box by clicking on the square or – to the right of the box title.
To obtain tracking history open the first box headed vehicles, tick the box marked ‘track’ which is on the same line and to the right of ‘vehicle name’ and ‘last seen.’ Close the vehicles box and then open the box below Tracks (Selected Points). You will see dates and times of journeys, put a tick in the ‘Select’ box for the journey you are interested in. Then close the Tracks (Selected Points Box).
Open up the box below marked Tracks (Selected Points) you will then see a the tracking history of the reports your tracker has sent throughout the journey. If you click on the box ‘Draw Tracks’ the journey will be highlighted on the map. You can interrogate the list by highlighting a journey report, a balloon will appear on the map corresponding with where the tracker was at that time.
To clear the map click on the 2 arrows in a circle to the left of ‘Draw Tracks.’ Then repeat this process by removing the ticks you have put in the boxes.

ENFORCER GPS TRACKER INSTRUCTIONS
Before you first use your Enforcer we recommend that you place it on charge. Due to the size of the battery it may take 24 hours for the initial charge. By doing so you will enhance the battery life, subsequent charges will take 3-4 hours.
To charge, open the waterproof case disconnect the large battery from the case and connect the battery to the charging unit. Plug the charging unit into your mains electricity supply. When fully charged reconnect the battery to the tracking device.
To switch the tracker on, press the on/off switch (Located at the top of the tracker) down until you see a green light flash on the front of the tracker.
To switch the tracker off press the on/off switch until you see a red light flash on the front of the tracker.
When first switched on the tracker may take a minute to initiate itself and show its first location report on the mapping panel. As it reacts to movement it may not show its first report until you use it on a vehicle.
USING YOUR MAPPING PANEL
You access your mapping panel by entering the above address in to your computer browser. The mapping server will initially ask you to download Microsoft Silverlight. You then login using your ID No and password.
You can also access the mapping panel by going to www.trackershop-uk.com and click on the green Easy Map Login button at the top of the page.
You will then see your private mapping panel and your tracker is indicated on the map either with a balloon or arrow.
The frame around the map displays information about your tracker such as battery level, how many location reports remaining, when it last reported etc
You can use various panels on the frame to obtain further information and also to send it commands and to top up your credits.
Replay: (Located bottom left corner). This displays your previous tracking routes on the map, use the calendar to select which date you are interested in. You can also get more detailed history by clicking on the Report Viewer button on the top bar.
Top Up Credits: (Located top left of bar). Use this button to top up your location and SMS credits. You can also purchase location credits by going to www.trackershop-uk.com and clicking on the red Top Up Credit Button at the top of the page.
Settings: (Located on top bar on left). Use this button to access the settings page from which you can send your tracker commands.
When in the settings page you use the panel to send it an SMS to change its reporting time, check its GSM level, battery level, get an instant location, to tell it to stop reporting and to reboot it should you need to put it back to default mode.
You can also enter which mobile phone numbers you want to be recipients of alarm messages in the device contacts box.
You can also see on this page what Geo-Fences are active.
Please be aware whenever you send your tracker an SMS command you will use an SMS credit.
Locate Me Now: (Centre of top bar) Use this button to get an instant location report.
Safety Zone: (Top bar on right). Use this button to set up a geo-fence so that you will be alerted if the tracker goes in or out of an area.
Google/Bing Maps: (Top bar on right). This allows you to select Bing or Google Map imagery as well as street map or satellite view.
Please be aware if you allow your location reports to go to zero you will not receive any updates from your Enforcer.
The Enforcer will also send its location to your mobile phone by SMS, simply phone its number and it will text you back.
MICRO MAGNETIC GPS TRACKER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before you first use your tracker we recommend that you place it on charge for about 4 hours using the charging lead supplied.
Once charged, to switch the tracker on, press the on/off switch (Located at the top of the tracker) down until you see a green light flash on the front of the tracker.
To switch the tracker off press the on/off switch until you see a red light flash on the front of the tracker.
To activate the SOS alarm press the alarm button (Located on the left side of the tracker) down for 5 seconds.
Place the tracker in the water resistant magnetic case.
When the tracker is on it will initiate itself and provide a location report, this may not happen until the tracker makes its first journey as it is programmed to send location reports when it senses movement.
