The Micro Magnetic 2 is really tiny in size. At 70x45x30 mm and 58g it is specifically designed for ease of carrying and deployment on vehicles or assets. It is incredibly easy to use and is ideal in every way for use to protect any object/asset. It is delivered to you 'ready to go' and uses the 'Easy-Map' mapping panel system which as the name suggests is easy to use, and provides simple and effective controllability.
You can top-up with location credits via the panel (each location report costs as little as 2/10th's of a penny when bought in quantity), as well as electing what reporting period you wish the tracker to use.
The Micro Magnetic 2 is a very small powerful GPS live tracker that tracks around the globe allowing you to view its position from every 5 seconds and upwards. Not only can you view the TRACK-Pod 2 LiveMap from its website control panel, but if you would prefer you can simply switch off the live tracking from your tracking panel and just call the device from your mobile phone when you want to know where it is. The tracker will then return the street address details via an SMS message to the callers mobile phone. On phones with WAP facilities users can access a full tracking map panel to view their tracking and control their tracker. An iPhone app is also available.
This latest version of the Track-Pod family now uses a motion sensor to further extend the battery life of the tracker. When stationary for more than 30 seconds the tracker will allow its GPS module to fall "asleep", and hence reduce the overall power requirement of the unit. Once it senses movement again the tracker wakes itself up fully and provides an up to date location to its mapping panel. This ensures that the tracker provides the absolute last possible location report prior to entering a period of stillness/sleep. Location updates from the tracker to notify the mapping panel that it is "asleep" and "awake" will use one location credit. Even in "sleep" status the Track-Pod 2 is always alert and waiting for commands from the user.
The motion sensor has allowed the addition of a "movement alert" button on the mapping panel, which is a superb tool for those users who wish to be alerted when their asset being tracked moves off from a stop-over.
We also believe in making matters very simple. The Micro Magnetic 2 GPS tracking solution works immediately once you remove it from the box, switch on and your tracking live. No activation costs, no monthly subscriptions. You have the freedom to use the device when you wish.
Our trackers will track from most developed countries. Should you intend to use the tracker abroad though it is very important that you please inform us and ensure that your tracker is set up for international roaming before the tracker leaves the UK. You will be required to pay a higher rate for location and sms topups whilst using the tracker abroad.
We have also included 100 position credits and 25 command sms credits to get you going (valid for 12 months). Once your 100 positions are finished you can purchase more by simply clicking a button on your control panel or via this website.
